I'm planning on moving to a new server within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Just a little friendly warning as there might be a few hours of odd behavior when the process starts. I will try to have it done at night or weekend.

I was there on Saturday.  I agree as well about the oil, oh well, there is always next year.  I did pick up some hard to fine plastics from Mike's Rx. Also picked up a fish hedz mask. Now my son won't complain as much.  Was nice meeting all.  See you on the water.

I pulled in Sat to see the show and buy some shakey head jigs in 3/32 from mikes RX, it was good to smell fiberglass and fish lurs, everone was willing to talk colors and shapes, and pull some out of the bag (I wish BPS and Cabellas would allow that). I put my name in for a door prize and left. A little later my phone rang and it was Wonderland telling me I won a door prize, so I went back on Sun to see what I had won, well it was a bag of good stuff, a hat, a crankbait, a key floater, a bottle opener, and a 25 count bag of good looken tubes. So I went and bought some Roboworm 4 1/2in FX plastic. I'm gona need a bigger boat to haul my tackle around, and that Ranger Z sitting outside would fit just fine. All-in-all a great experience.

Rob,
I've never tried to get bulk oil in anything other than old oil jugs or gasoline containers I only use for oil. I've been told some don't like having to refill the gallon containers and asked to bring larger containers with bigger openings - like a 5-gal gas can.

What would be considered approved containers for anyone thinking about coming in for bulk oil this year? Do you guys mind refilling used 1 gallon oil containers? Are large gas cans ok (plastic - assuming they haven't been used for gas)? Thanks.

Thanks for a great show with a great start to what could become a premier show for bass anglers!!! Great job!

Help stop invasive spcies. Don't move fish between unconnected bodies of water. Clean, drain and dry your boat before launching on another water body.

Dan,
I know you asked Rob this question but I will try and explain. Engine manufacturers now have very specific blends for each of thier engines. When there is a failure or warranty issue they go so far as to test the oils to find a reason for that failure. If any thing funny is in the oil they will deny any warranty claim and cancel a warranty on that engine because the consumer put something other than the approved oil in the engine.

The only way around that is if we only fill Reused oil jugs from the same type and Manufacturer. In simple terms if you buy a jug of Opti Oil off the shelf, after you use that oil save that jug and we can refill it with the same type Oil, and it is cheaper in Bulk. If we fill any other type jugs we could be held liable for a foreign substance in the jug and held liable for an engine failure.

Hope this clears up the confusion. Oil is cheaper when bought in Bulk so always keep your OEM jugs and bring them in to be refilled.

My only problem with the whole bulk oil thing was that it was not made clear to bring OEM empty jugs to the sale.  Or else I would of tried to get some before getting there.  Oh well now I know for next year.  I still managed to get my 10 gallons at bulk with a little leg work.
