Jan's Sport Shop?

Ok, what's going on with Jan's?
I heard it was for sale, almost sold, closing up.....

It looked like some activity when I drove by there last week.

What is the real scoop?

For sale, but still in operation.  I just got some parts, LU oil and a couple bottles of quickleen.  I didn't recognize the guy at the parts counter or the lady that answered the phone and there weren't many people around like there usually is.  Of course it is still March.

It looks like they are keeping up a small crew until they find a new owner to take over.

I still have a $100 gift card to Jann's that I won up on Burt and Mullet a couple years ago.

From what I've been told, Jan's is still selling the boats they have in inventory now, and keeping parts and service running.
