Tournaments in Fenton, Holly, Linden (or Flint) area?

I'm looking for some tournaments or one-time contests to join with my son. Anyone aware of any within an hour or so of the Flint area? I'm from Fenton but don't mind a drive. My son is 5 and really getting into fishing, so I'm not looking for anything crazy.

I apologize for not responding sooner. I think it's admirable that you are spending the time you are with your son. He's only going to be 5 once. My son is going to be 13 and I spend all kinds of time with him. He's a travel soccer player.

Here is a tip also. Post more. More people will respond if you become more active.   

Tournaments during the evening during the week are really what you want. He's not going to spend 8 hours in the boat with you. I know this from experience. The 3 hour NBAA Tournament is perfect. Small membership fee for you and it's free for him as he is fishing with you. Go to www.nbaa-bass.com and checkout tournaments in your area. There are a quite a few. Even at 13 they won't spend 8 hours in the boat.......
