Move went fine. The new server is much faster. Which is good!

I'm planning on moving to a new server within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Just a little friendly warning as there might be a few hours of odd behavior when the process starts. I will try to have it done at night or weekend.

Which model was it? They have like 3 different ones out there ...regular hds 8....gen 2....gen 2 touch screen ...it gets confusing let alone the maps, down imaging, sonar. Bass Pro last weekend had hds 7 gen 2 with the rebate for 1,200 ..that included d
down imaging.

LAPORTE

Sorry, It's a Gen 2 base map with ducer

Well I went down and checked them out at cabelas...If you bought the side imaging with it you get a $300 rebate.Sooo I ended up pulling the trigger...HDS 8 Gen 2 with SI. Plus you need the ethernet 15 foot cable. All total it will cost me $1750 after rebate...I have never been in a boat with side and down scan, but every thing I read says they are the real deal...I am going to install it myself,if anyone knows of any tips or helpful ideas please let me know ....thanks.

Pay close attention to where you mount the ducer.  That is the crucial part.  If you get it wrong, you will not get the clarity on the graph.
