I'm planning on moving to a new server within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Just a little friendly warning as there might be a few hours of odd behavior when the process starts. I will try to have it done at night or weekend.

Hi Guys,

I just wanted to introduce myself to you all.  I have decided to fish a few events with you guys next year...it looks like you guys have a blast together!

I bit about me.  I moved to Michigan back in the summer of 1999, after I graduated from college and went to work for GM.  I spent 2 years in Michigan, mostly fishing small club events on Lobdell and Ponemah (lived in Swartz Creek).  I then was transferred to upstate NY.  I moved up to the BFL level, and also fished in a large club (southerntierbass.com).  I also started a weeknight trail while living there.  Had a blast fishing 40+ events per year.  After 3 years, I was transferred to Oklahoma City.  I spent 1 year there fishing the Okie BFL and the Skeeter tour.  The Skeeter Tour was a team circut...similar to the FOM or ABA here in Michigan....except that the events drew 300 boats!  Well, after living in OKC for 14 months, I was transferred back to Michigan last spring.  This past season I fished only the BFL and a few opens.  With all of the new water, I felt like it was really a learning year.

Next season I will be fishing the BFL and the FOM along with the EBA events.  Full schedule, but it looks like fun!!

I look forward to meeting you guys and sharing a boat with you!!

Well I guess it's my turn? My name is Luke Baker. I am 17 and I live in Lansing. I have been fishing all of my life. I mainly fish Crooked lake up north in Clare and the lakes surrounding Hastings. I've been trying to get into tournament fishing for a couple years now, and thought I might get a break last year when I talked to Jim Sprague. Jim runs the NBAA circuit, he is my mom's cousin and said he would help me out. Well he got busy and bought a tackle company so that fell through. Oh well. I'm glad I got the chance to join this club, it is just what I need to get started. I have met a couple of you at the DK open and the rest of you I am looking forward to meeting at the upcoming events.

Guys -welcome aboard - sounds like we'll have a great season in 2007.  WE are a non-competitive club(ok - maybe a little for bragging rights), but mostly trying to learn from each other new locations and techniques to master these addicting green and brown fish.  I'm looking forward to meeting everyone either at the show or the next meeting.

Jack

PS - look for me at the show on Friday and monday at either the TBF booth, Extremem Bass Tackle, or the Ranger Boat Simulator and say hi.

Welcome to the board guys.

Luke

The NBAA has many overtime challenge divisions all over the state.

If you go to their site, www.nbaa-bass.com they also have a way to find a partner.

I was able to hook up with Stackenem on this board last year.
So much water.  So many lures.  So little time.
