Move went fine. The new server is much faster. Which is good!

I'm planning on moving to a new server within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Just a little friendly warning as there might be a few hours of odd behavior when the process starts. I will try to have it done at night or weekend.

Yesterday at the Natural Resources Commission meeting in Lansing, science prevailed thanks to many, many persons who took the time to write in, and especially those who showed up to speak before the Commission on Commissioner Walters’ amendment to close bass fishing on the Inland Waterway and Black Lake from May 1 until the third Saturday in June.

What blade baits do you like?

I have really only fished Vibe's but as looking at some other ones like damiki and binsky thinking about trying some out.

Also I have really only fished blades on inland lakes in ohio usually 1/4 size for Lmouth in the spring what sizes are prefferd for Spring/fall erie smallies?

Thanks

djkimmel

I usually use the 1/2 oz size most. I use homemade ones that are similar to Poor Boys Baits version - www.economicalbassbaits.com carries them. You can use different brands for different actions like any other type of lures. Some anglers do that though it seems more often many blade baiters stick to the one they like most.

i've had some luck with the buck-eye jig'n vibes. one thing i noticed is put short shank trebbles and split rings on pretty much any blade. some of those split trebles they put on them are junk.

I just got a few Damiki's in 1/2 oz. I will be trying them this weekend. It will be my first time fishing any blade baits. Not even sure what type of rod I should use.

6 1/2 or 7 foot medium-fast action rod should work good.
