Yesterday at the Natural Resources Commission meeting in Lansing, science prevailed thanks to many, many persons who took the time to write in, and especially those who showed up to speak before the Commission on Commissioner Walters’ amendment to close bass fishing on the Inland Waterway and Black Lake from May 1 until the third Saturday in June.

Just before the October Natural Resources Committee meeting on Thursday, October 9, Commissioner John Walters added an amendment to Fisheries Order 206 – “Bass - Closed bass CIR season from May 1 – Friday before the third Saturday in June for Burt, Mullet, Crooked, Pickerel, and Black Lakes and their connecting waters.”

A friend of mine is selling this pick up camper. It's for an 8 ft. bed. It's really in good shape. I have had a camper like this and it really works well if you want to travel and pull your boat. Camper goes on and off easily and only takes a few minutes. Here's the nitty gritty: 2007 SUN VALLEY PICK UP CAMPER: Beautiful camper. Has a bathroom and shower with a hot water heater, stove, sink, refridgerator, etc. New interior design maximizes space. Perfect for those who want to pull a boat along with them.. You can tow your boat and still have your home away from home. Camper is easy to drop at a campsite and loads in minutes. Check out the pictures. The awning is an option that comes with this unit. It's a must for camping. Pull it out and it will cover a picnic table so you can put your things on it and keep the morning dew off it. Protects you from the sun or raindrops. Sleeps two adults really nice, and will sleep four.
