This is a tale of two lakes. Intertwined lakes, in Barry County, Michigan. Where somehow the water has gone away. Upper and Lower Crooked Lakes, both near and dear to me, are suffering from the lowest water levels I've seen in the 35+ years I've been fishing them.

Just wondering if anyone has heard how the Michigan TBF is coming on getting a new website up and running?

The structure is done. Working on the old content and re-organization of it this week. Should be something to see by the end of the weekend assuming the board approves it.

Thanks. Still lots of history to add in. Not sure if all will be added. Some information from last year needs to be gathered yet. But the behind the scenes framework is setup to add information much easier. I will do some and some of the board members may do some. Just need a little training after I get back from the jungle.

Might still be some look and feel tweaking yet too as we get some feedback from users.

I talked to TBF of Michigan president Dave Reault today and I believe he's okay with announcing it now - www.michigantbf.com as before.

Like I said, there's previous content yet to be added for historical purposes but it seemed more important to get the how to join and why to join stuff up first, and information about 2012, and to have the website be easily updateable now. You can add an article and picture in just minutes. We'll get some of the history on there after I get back. More pictures, results, etc. This is really for the future of TBF of Michigan.

There are more (hopefully) helpful features being discussed too. It is just a matter of the board deciding which ones they all want and in what order. Many features can be added easier now but it is still a matter of a volunteer-run group. I hope everyone remembers that. And I hope people see this as a start in a good direction.
