Every service, and church group meeting there is an oppurtunity to ask for prayer.
In the past, I never would. I felt is wasn't OK for me to ask prayers for myself/my family if I knew of others who needed the power of prayer's influence on their lives.
And I wouldn't ask for them, because that is something I could be doing for them....

Well last week at our small church group meeting my wife asked for a few prayers for our family. I'm going to school full time, and as you can imagine that is not easy with a family, bills, responsibilities. Also, I am planning to adopt my step son, and wanted prayers for guidance in how to approach the subject with him.

Without going into a bunch of detail, I feel that this week, my family has been truly blessed, and feel as though the prayers for our family were answered.

The lord provides the things and wisdom we need to live a happy life...

Indeed He does.  I've seen too many inexplainable things occur that I can only attribute to God to deny it.  He still does miracles and works in our midst.  In fact in our church we are having an amazing thing happening right now that I can't get into detail about just yet, but it's an example of God doing a whole host of wonderful things that we could not accomplish on our own.  I never cease to be amazed by the living, acting, Omnipotent God I serve!

Help stop invasive spcies. Don't move fish between unconnected bodies of water. Clean, drain and dry your boat before launching on another water body.
