I'm planning on moving to a new server within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Just a little friendly warning as there might be a few hours of odd behavior when the process starts. I will try to have it done at night or weekend.

Yesterday at the Natural Resources Commission meeting in Lansing, science prevailed thanks to many, many persons who took the time to write in, and especially those who showed up to speak before the Commission on Commissioner Walters’ amendment to close bass fishing on the Inland Waterway and Black Lake from May 1 until the third Saturday in June.

Just before the October Natural Resources Committee meeting on Thursday, October 9, Commissioner John Walters added an amendment to Fisheries Order 206 – “Bass - Closed bass CIR season from May 1 – Friday before the third Saturday in June for Burt, Mullet, Crooked, Pickerel, and Black Lakes and their connecting waters.”

Due to low water levels on the Great Lakes, particularly Lake St. Clair, the mouth of the channel at the Michigan DNR Clinton River Cutoff ramp needs to be dredged.

Registration will begin at 5am - there will be a mandatory meeting at 6:20am at which at least 1 team member must be present; the meeting will take no longer than 5 minutes.

Livewell checks will be done prior to launching which will begin at 5:45am - we are aiming to have everyone in the water prior to the team meeting so please be prompt so we can get rolling a little early.

1st Flight of 25 boats will take-off no later than 7am - if everyone is ready to go we could see take-off as early as 6:45am so again please be prompt.  2nd Flight will take-off immediately following the 1st and 3rd flight will take-off immediately after the 2nd.

1st Flight Check-in is at 3:00pm
2nd Flight Check-in is at 3:15pm
3rd Flight Check-in is at 3:30pm

Because there's no hunger like a 8-hour tourney hunger we will be serving Homeade Meatballs, Cheesy Potatoes, Corn, a desert and Ice Cold Beverages immediately upon arriving to weigh-in.

All of the above information plus other details will be outlined on your Tournament Itenary when you arrive at Fisherman's Landing on Sunday - we're looking forward to a great day of fun and competition!
