Rainbow Lake

I was just looking at a map of were I live just north of St Johns and noticed that Rainbow Lake is pretty good sized and not far away. Has anyone ever fished this lake? Is it worth trying? Thanks Mike

It is if you can get a permit. You have to be a property owner or relative to get a permit. It is a private reservoir. It used to be full of huge bass, but the dam blew out in the flood of 98 or 99? I've have heard it is recovering steadily though maybe not the giant bass it used to have in it before the damage.
