I'm planning on moving to a new server within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Just a little friendly warning as there might be a few hours of odd behavior when the process starts. I will try to have it done at night or weekend.

Platinum Equities who bought Ranger, Champion, Stratos, etc. in the Irwin Jacobs bankruptcy bought Triton. All four brands will now be made in Flippin, Arkansas. Earl Bentz will be moving with his boat line and become part of Platinum's team. Very interesting. The rumors are still floating that B.A.S.S. will be sold. How all this will shake out in terms of Ranger Cup et. al. incentives will be worked out now that all these lines are under one roof will certainly be interesting.

I saw the news somewhere a while back that Champion Boats were now going to be called Stratos Elite or something similar too.

Help stop invasive spcies. Don't move fish between unconnected bodies of water. Clean, drain and dry your boat before launching on another water body.

Well... if the hull is the same then it won't really matter what the name on it is when you're driving it.

Bite your tongue!!!!

thats a shame, i think the champion name has a lot better brand recognition and has been around forever. They should keep it as is. if they are making the same hull and own the name, then whats the difference?

glad to see them staying in the states however!

That was one possibility, but way too clean. They are already planning on calling the new tritons - Trangers so it will have to be something else.

Unfortunately, all the names I've heard are inappropriate for this web site considering all the kids and nice people that visit...

Maybe I could suggest a few of them:
Stancion
Striation
Strettos
Castratos
