T.J. Rumpf and Ben Cummings are headed down to North Carolina this weekend to represent the Michigan State Fishing Club to fish in the FLW College Series on Mt. Island Lake.  I just wanted to post and wish the both of them luck and lets hope they slam the bass out there!

MadWags

Original song and lyrics by "MadWags"

What's with the news these days on the TV and the radio. Can't find the truth amongst the lies. Some talking head that claims to live their life in a better way, says I have to compromise. But now there's something on the rise. Truth has opened up my eyes. There's no running from your dirty lies. You can't avoid the truth. I'll no longer close my eyes.

Thank you for your help at the shows.  The way all of you worked on your fundraiser then helped with customers too put your team spirit on display.  If you fish that way there's nothing you can't accomplish together.

Go get 'em guys!

Know what you mean Mike... I bleed Maze and Blue (well, not so much any more now that the loans are all payed off!).  But it's fishing... not football.  So root them on simply because they are Our guys.

Help stop invasive spcies. Don't move fish between unconnected bodies of water. Clean, drain and dry your boat before launching on another water body.

FISH HARD!!!

mountain island lake is a full time hot hole lake.. odds are the bass are on the beds water temp should be around 65 degrees.. how ever please note that we have had a massive cold front on monday.. which dumped 4-6" of rain plus 6 twisters on us. the bite should be ok but they will face some ugly muddy water...

Zooker-
The fish weren't up on beds yet and bites were few and far between.  Only one team caught their limit. Second place finished with under 9 pounds.  The team that won found a school with Spots and Stripers mixed together and managed a 6 fish limit of 21 and change. The fish that were caught we mostly caught on cranks. Out of 40 teams, 22 of them zeroed.  The water was a lot dirtier than anticipated.
