I'm planning on moving to a new server within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Just a little friendly warning as there might be a few hours of odd behavior when the process starts. I will try to have it done at night or weekend.

I thought I would let you guys hear the music project I have been working on. It isn't any one style and may not be to your musical tastes but hopefully there is something in there for everyone. Rock, Alternative, Country. I am not picky as I like all music. We have lots more music in the studio so keep an eye out for more songs. The country song, "Can I still Be" features channel 4 news anchor Devin Scillian on vocals.
We have been asked to write music for next years Christmas in Detroit CD by Mitch Album. Anyway give it a listen and enjoy if you can. I'll keep everyone posted on or progress. Oh my 15 year old son Evan is on drums, he gets so many great comments from the other musicians.

What's with the news these days on the TV and the radio. Can't find the truth amongst the lies. Some talking head that claims to live their life in a better way, says I have to compromise. But now there's something on the rise. Truth has opened up my eyes. There's no running from your dirty lies. You can't avoid the truth. I'll no longer close my eyes.

I'm not big on country music. But It sounds good...

Just like all music, I like some, and dont like some. But, I like more than I dont lol. Keep up the great work Dave. Cool about your son too. This is much better than my movie debut LOL

I didn't hear much country infusion, but I did think there was definitely some sixties influence and several songs have some great metal licks. Great vocals and great musicians. If I heard this coming out of a casino lounge or whatever, I would definitely go in and sit down. You guys are more than good. You can tell there is some real experience there. It's tough doing your own music and not succumbing to covers. People don't realize how tough that is. (Although, I don't think its a bad idea to throw in a cover once in a while.) I could definitely put this on my iPod. I listened to all the songs and will again. Great job Mads! The logo is right on too. Would make a great t-shirt. The music business can be tough, but you've got to keep plugging in. Thanks for sharing!! I have several people I want to send the myspace link to. I think they will like the sound.

Nicely done Mags.   Very polished.

Very professional.

Call it my age, or whatever, but I liked "Can I still Be".

So much water.  So many lures.  So little time.

Thanks for the honest feed back guys. I really appreciate it. Hey enjoy it all you want, download it and put it on your IPods or computers. I'll let you know when I upload more tunes. Just trying to keep the music alive and I feel fortunate to know so many talented people, not only in music but in fishing as well. ;D

Cool deal Wags.  I might have missed it, but what are you playing?

Jeff,

I am one of the main song writers. I have a digital studio in the basement where we do pre-production. I write the lyrics and arrangements for the most part. I am a drummer but have opted to let my son Evan play on all the studio tracks. We work out the parts together at home.
This is a positive musical experience for him. He is also on the drumline at school.
On the studio tracks you hear me singing back-ups on Crazy Girl, Fighting to Stay and Dance Forever, playing percussion on Everybodys Doing It and doing the Rap (I don't call it that) speaking parts on Dance Forever. My singing voice has long since left me for any lead parts, but you never know, one song might come along that I can handle and fits my middle aged over indulged vocal chords. LOL!

I just enjoy creating music much in the same way you enjoy creating awesome paint schemes on baits. Make no mistake you get out what you put in it. I don't have to tell you guys that. I was talking to McCarter and he was telling me how little sleep he was getting because he was staying awake to pour baits. Back in the day we would stay up for days at a time in the studio creating songs.

Oh to be young again.
