Move went fine. The new server is much faster. Which is good!

I'm planning on moving to a new server within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Just a little friendly warning as there might be a few hours of odd behavior when the process starts. I will try to have it done at night or weekend.

Yesterday at the Natural Resources Commission meeting in Lansing, science prevailed thanks to many, many persons who took the time to write in, and especially those who showed up to speak before the Commission on Commissioner Walters’ amendment to close bass fishing on the Inland Waterway and Black Lake from May 1 until the third Saturday in June.

Last Sunday May 31, 2009, I was fishing out on the Mile Roads.  I saw Stricker at first at the 9 Mile Tower.  He had his son in the water, and Kim was following him with the trolling motor casting to where it seems that his son was diving with the underwater camera.  Later I saw them again up between Masonic and the "blue wall" at 11 Mile Road.  They were doing the same thing.  His son was in the water with the camera and he was on the trolling motor casting to points that his son told him to.  They were communicating with one another as I saw that Kim had a headset on and I could hear them talking to each other.  Pretty interesting I thought.  I didn't move too close as they did have the dive flag up.  I did get some pictures on my cell phone and as soon as I can transfer them to my computer, I will post them here.

Help stop invasive spcies. Don't move fish between unconnected bodies of water. Clean, drain and dry your boat before launching on another water body.

I like Kim's TV show.  Get up early on Tuesdays just to watch it.

He's always shared info with me, and treated me real nice.

I wouldn't mind fishing with him some day either.

So much water.  So many lures.  So little time.

How deep were they out in?

They started deep and worked shallow.  They started at about 10 feet and saw me catch 3 decent fish in 15 minutes in about 8 fow and quickly worked shallow.  Stricker was working a jerkbait and as I said was following his son around who was in the water.  I cut out of the area about 15 minutes after they worked into the same depth line as me.  I ended up going back down to the tower area and catch a few more before going home.
