I'm planning on moving to a new server within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Just a little friendly warning as there might be a few hours of odd behavior when the process starts. I will try to have it done at night or weekend.

Even though I'm normally against him, I'm with Pigsmallie on this one. 60 degree round bend - the EWG will tend to make the jig fall over.

Thanks for all the input guys.  Looks like the majority of you like the same style hook as me so we will be going with the round bend hook.  As much as i would like to offer both, it would be too confusing, at least right now.  We are pouring 5 different styles of jig heads right now.  We have the Upskirt Jigs that we use 2 different size hooks for and just got 2/0 hooks to make a "mini-skirt" jig that is modeled after my old favorite, the bitsy bug.  Small compact jig built with top end components?  How can you go wrong?  Plus, we have our swim jig line which uses a complete different style of hook.  We also pour round and football shakey heads with screw locks under the hook eye that use different style hook, and the Upskirt FB's will have  a different style hook than the rest.  Not to mention, the FB's will be available in 1/4, 3/8, 1/2, and 3/4 so we will be using 3 different hook sizes to accomodate the different weights.  Offering 2 styles of hooks in one jig head would be too much of a head ache right now.  I have a headache just typing about it.

We hope to have the FB Jigs available for purchase by mid may.  we have the mold but still have to rework for the screw lock.  Plus we have been getting slammed with plastic orders, the jig orders are rolling in ( Monzo is still hot but is starting to cool off, Codys craw is heating up in sales already, Nick Carters Magic, GP Roadkill, PB&J, and a bunch of custom color requests have been getting a lot of attention) and we are filling our Pro Staff guys boxes with goodies for the season.  Also working on shirts and hats and just got our first shipment of decals for us and the staff.

Busy, busy, busy and lovin every minute of it.

In closing, here is a shot of Chris's windshield with the new decal action on it.

McCarter, even though you are going to offer only the one hook, I think you are short changing yourself by not offering both.  The hook in option 2 is going to be better for fall.  I would be that customer that would want both.  I fish a lot of football heads.  I like 'em.....I like 'em a lot!!!!    ;)    Don't sell yourself short.  You may find that option 2 may outsell option 1.  The wider gap provides for a better hook up.  Just my 2 cents.  How much are these going to sell for???  Will you be offering rattles in some???   I have yet to see a football head with rattles unless added by the angler.  Innovation will be the key to bigger and better sales.  Good luck!!!    8)

We will get some hooks ordered and start working on the mold next week. The molds are not really made for these hooks so we'll see how well they turn out after a lot of filling and grinding but I'm sure we'll get them just right. It will be easier to start with one hook in the beginning but if everything works out both should fit into the mold so adding the other shouldn't be a big deal. We're just trying to keep things a little more simple with a new product at first since it seems like we have different hooks coming out our ears right now.
We are also working on finding the best way to attach rattles since all the skirts are wire tied on we don't use the standard rubber collars that normally hold skirts. There are several options out there that we are working on.
