Move went fine. The new server is much faster. Which is good!

I'm planning on moving to a new server within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Just a little friendly warning as there might be a few hours of odd behavior when the process starts. I will try to have it done at night or weekend.

Yesterday at the Natural Resources Commission meeting in Lansing, science prevailed thanks to many, many persons who took the time to write in, and especially those who showed up to speak before the Commission on Commissioner Walters’ amendment to close bass fishing on the Inland Waterway and Black Lake from May 1 until the third Saturday in June.

Just wanted everyone to know the launch @ 9 Mile and Jefferson will be open next Sunday April 5th. Looks like East Pointe will be the city in charge for the next 5 years. Which makes no sense but its a launch. Cost is still gonna be $10. Any other launch opening reports on the east side would be great for everyone. The only ramps I have seen actually in the water has been @ Metrobeach and @ Blossom Heath. But there has been boats launching @ harley ensign but no ramps are in so bring your waders or boots.

Where is Blossom Heath???  The other launch I know of is the one behind the St. Clair Shores Library and Court House.  That one is $10 also.  It is open to non-residences.  I have been launching there over the last few years.

That's interesting.   I thought you had to be a resident to launch behind the Library, and still pay the $10.  Every time I've gone there she's asked me for the resident card.
So much water.  So many lures.  So little time.

Selfridge is open with docks, Fair Haven, (Brandenburg) is open with docks. Blossom Heath is $ 10.00 and is  at Blossom Heath and Jefferson, I'd say south of 10 mile and Jefferson.

The BP tackle shop at 9 Mile and Jefferson got stocked today with 4"&5" Great Lakes Perch, 4" and DST St. Clair Crayfish and all top three color in skirted twin tails.  We'll get Jackie stocked up some more by next weekend.

Thanks Wayne. The blossom heath launch is just south of 10 mile. look for the driveway with the fountain and mini pond up front and just follow the road turn left at the first road on your left follow that to the guard booth. you diffinetly half to be a resident @ the library to launch and blossom heath last time I checked. And it is $10 @ both spots. Its $10 @ 9 mi and jefferson but anyone can launch there if your nice enough.

I launched behind the library over a dozen times last year.  I paid $10 like anybody else and I launched.  In this economy, I don't think any one will be turned away anywhere.
