I don't know if this has been brought up yet, but I just recieved it in my FLW Newsletter...

It looks like the Anti-fishing Lobbyists are at work.  I guess it is no surprise really.  We will all be digging deeper into our pockets for tungsten.

djkimmel

Don't throw in the towel yet. It's been brought up in Michigan the past few years too, but we've kept it from coming out of committee so far.

Help stop invasive spcies. Don't move fish between unconnected bodies of water. Clean, drain and dry your boat before launching on another water body.

That is why we need organizations like the TBF to stand up and lobby for us as a unified front.  Most of the time the squeeky wheel (maybe reel) gets the oil...

djkimmel

There's lots of squeakin' going on... and anglers are not the squeakiest...

Oh man could I get on a soap box on this one!!! All I will say though everyone wants a strong military,,They just don't want it to effect them in anyway...You wouldn't believe the complaints I have seen over the years...Noise, Dust, planes flying too low, soldiers taking all of our girlfriends,  etc, etc...
It is kind of like prisons...The same guys that are saying "lock all 'em all up" are complaining about having a prison in their backyard...

It is very important to get involved...Don't wait for someone to fight the fight for you. Without people like Dan and Dennis and organizations like TBF, Peta would have us fishing without hooks.
