Move went fine. The new server is much faster. Which is good!

I'm planning on moving to a new server within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Just a little friendly warning as there might be a few hours of odd behavior when the process starts. I will try to have it done at night or weekend.

Yesterday at the Natural Resources Commission meeting in Lansing, science prevailed thanks to many, many persons who took the time to write in, and especially those who showed up to speak before the Commission on Commissioner Walters’ amendment to close bass fishing on the Inland Waterway and Black Lake from May 1 until the third Saturday in June.

Didn't fish the super tournament, anyone have the 2009 Michigan schedule?  I also can't find anthony's email, anyone have it?  I've heard they were looking at Saginaw Bay for 2010 and just wanted to touch base.

Just saw on the FLW website that there is a 2009 BFL schedule posted. However there is no Michigan division listed, along with 9 or so other divisions that are not on there either. Is FLW cutting back or is the list just not completed yet? It looks like there might be some new divisions, but I can't tell for sure.

Last I knew the schedule was pretty much the same...I hope they aren't bypassing Michigan if so it is the Stren series for sure..

dashaver63

The schedule is up now and it is the same as this years was.

I'm a little suprised they went back to sandusky, they only had 87 boats last year.  Hopefully we get a warm spring, were going up to burt/mullet a week earlier.

Im a huge fan of the BFl and what they do. Ill take them anyday over BassMasters! The Burt and Mullet thing??? Not Next year(2010) thats gonna kill that place. you put 100 plus of the best fisherman in Michigan on that place its gonna hurt. As far as the rest, those of you that know me I was voting for a westside tourney!.go bucketheads!. i think if thing keep going like this, we need to run 2 Michigan divisions! Were losing alot of good fisherman on the westside that can compete. Im not from the westside..(i Live in Indiana) but things arent fair if everything is stuck on St.Clair and Erie!!! That doesnt show you who the best fisherman are!!-skeeterman-phil strakowski-

Buckeye

I haven't decided which I am going to fish.  I hate fishing the Buckeye division, three tourneys on the Ohio River are enough to age a man 10 years in a day.

I fished the Burt/Mullett event last year, and skunked. I had two keeper on, and lost them.  I decided to hold off the rest of the event.  I truly loved fishing up there though, and drew a good boater.

I would consider the Stren too, but I don't know if they'll let me fish it as a boater.  I qualified last year as a co-angler (2007), but I don't like fishing as a co-angler as much as a boater.  Going to KY Lake, Detroit River, and then Fort Madison doesn't bother me, but the Missouri trip is a big ?.

I think Stren is taking anyone paying as a boater, of course, with the qualifiers first.  But they normally don't fill the field, and if you reserve for all 4 tourneys they will take your money and put you in.  Just what I have been hearing though, so anyone feel free to chime in.
