I'm planning on moving to a new server within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Just a little friendly warning as there might be a few hours of odd behavior when the process starts. I will try to have it done at night or weekend.

Talkin' with a fella on the Baw Beese chain this morning, seems he was fishing a club tourney with a club called "Great Lakes Bass" out of Hudson, MI. My home town.... Asked if he belonged here and he said "nope".

Now I've been lookin' for a club for over a year and am yet to find one close to home, and either willing to accept a co-angler or a boater with no livewell. Could anybody get me some information on this club?

Thanks,

-NBB  :)

I only know of one club with that name - a TBF club with one or two of our board members in it. They are based in SE Michigan. Not sure if it is the same club, but how many clubs could there be with that name? I told the club president John Serniak they have to pay me royalties for the name... still waiting for the check ;D

Here's the contact information for Great Lakes Bass:

I know of the club, and fish against a lot of those guys in the open tournaments and weeknighters on Wamplers and Devils.  But I don't know any of their phone numbers!  Maple City Bass Club is out of Adrian,  MI and I know they're looking for members.  The only stipulation is that you must be 16 I believe.  I sent you a PM with the contact info.

Is it a different club? Two Great Lakes Bass clubs?

Thanks for the info, guys.

Bryan, I've talked with MCB and they said I'd be fine. (I'll be 16 in early February). I'd really like to start fishing tournaments, but with no livewell, it's kinda tough.

Oh, speakin' of tourneys... I was in Knutson's Tackle/Hunt Shop in Brooklyn, MI today and saw a flier for a fall tournament on Wamplers on the 27th of September. It was $60 per team, 100% payout, and $1,000 top prize. I'd really like to enter, but need a boater, (or livewell).

Thanks,

-NBB

Well, maybe you can meet someone on here? I had a homemade bass boat for years and used a big 80 quart cooler with a pump out/pump in bilge and a spray bar to aerate.
