I'm planning on moving to a new server within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Just a little friendly warning as there might be a few hours of odd behavior when the process starts. I will try to have it done at night or weekend.

I was just sitting here thinking while I was bored at work.....
Can Fish become conditioned to Scent??? IE: Gulp, Yumm etc
We know they can be conditioned to Lures so why not scent??
If every time a Smallie eats something that smells like Gulp he gets stuck....pretty soon he is going to quit eating gulp...
Just one of those crazy ideas that roll through my mind at times....

Why not?  I'm conditioned to Funyuns!  Every time I eat them I get fat, so I have to stop eating them.  The same phenomena?   ;D

Maybe we should come up with Funyun flavored tubes.....

It's pretty well known through the industry that fish will become bait shy...At what level I don't know...I have broke off on fish under docks and thrown right back there with the same bait and caught the fish with the broke off  bait and line still in it's gullet...So who knows..

Thats how you;ll get marketed with the next Berkley product by the way so good heads up ....

Back to the actual topic - FLW had an article last month saying spitting on your lure to cover up you hand oil scent was proven to catch more fish .... if you believe it - then scent does play a role.

I do know this - Look for "Original" fish spray - this product isnt used by anyone and works like mad.
Thanks Dan for bringing year round Catch and Release to Michigan
