Move went fine. The new server is much faster. Which is good!

I'm planning on moving to a new server within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Just a little friendly warning as there might be a few hours of odd behavior when the process starts. I will try to have it done at night or weekend.

I'm fishing Sanford tomorrow and was looking for any reports/suggestions on what's been happening

From the info I got a couple of weeks ago, it took 18 + w/ 6 fish to even get into the money. It sounded as though all the money was won with jigs in the middle of the lake fishing humps with weeds and stumps, near the first fill.

Good luck!!! That lake is a nightmare for me.

You hit right on the head. Jighead that is. The winner and just about everyone else were on the humps. 17.85 to win. 5.08 big bass

How was the turn out? Mostly locals?

Pat

Durand Dan

A local won it and there was another in the money. It took around 13.5lbs to get a check

Usually 30 to 35 boats in most tournaments. About the same group of guys in all because they are fishing to get in the championship at end of year on Wixom Lake.

Durand Dan

There were 36 boats Sat. They had 51 at the last Wixom tourny. The classic takes place on Wixon 8/16 and 8/17.

Ya, I was pretty fimiliar with that circuit for about 4 years. I got into a club and started to fish different lakes. If I had more time I think I might fish with them again, but I like fishing other lakes then the same three or four each year.

I was really impressed with how well things were run and the payouts. The best part about this circuit is there is no membership fees, you just show up and fish. It would be great to see more events like that.

Heck, I remember one year when they were still fishing Lobdell that we had 71-72 boats. Now that is crazy for that lake + all the reacreational boaters, WOW!

That was the last one they had at Lobdell. I fished it also.
