I'm planning on moving to a new server within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Just a little friendly warning as there might be a few hours of odd behavior when the process starts. I will try to have it done at night or weekend.

I was out on the south shore today as well. We caught several small fish but if I had to take a bag to the scales ....hmm    I would say we had about 21lbs or so in just 6 hours and about 45-55 fish total. I seen UAWBIGDOG on the water as well. He pulled up as we were pitching fish out of the live well. the bite was slow early in the morning. The best bite coming in about 6-8 fow after 9 am. We caught them on tubes and drop-shot also Swim baits.....beavers

I was out there Saturday too. Saw a fair amount of pro boats later in the day. I didn't recognize anyone and talked to none. Most were far enough away I didn't even recognize which boat/team they were. I think the IAMS boat is the only one that ran by close enough to read. We caught mostly small bass to decent keepers, but got a few better quality ones here and there. No real pattern or plan we could follow for the better fish. cameraguy and I fished US waters only.

Help stop invasive spcies. Don't move fish between unconnected bodies of water. Clean, drain and dry your boat before launching on another water body.

Friday I took the wife to Munchies Bay and we spent all day there partying with friends. Watched the fire works at Mac N Rays that night. No fishing. Saturday went with friends in their boat to Algonac Harbor Club. Spent the whole day there partying and swimming. No fishing. Sunday went out fishing. Saw Jay Yelas, Scott Martin, Keith Pace and others that I don't know. Caught several Toads on the Canadian side and south shore from the Belle Hump to the River. Mostly Small fish and lots of Perch. Saw lots of big fish on surface and cruising. Must be well fed on bugs still. Most would not bite.

Dan your web time is one hour off.

What's with the news these days on the TV and the radio. Can't find the truth amongst the lies. Some talking head that claims to live their life in a better way, says I have to compromise. But now there's something on the rise. Truth has opened up my eyes. There's no running from your dirty lies. You can't avoid the truth. I'll no longer close my eyes.

I fished LSC on Thursday.  That was the really nasty day that started with Rain, and the cold front moved through with kickin' north winds and then cleared the skies with high pressure.

I put in at Marine City.  I had always heard that the river bite is no good in June/Early July but I wanted to try it.  Never caught a fish in the river.  Ran down to the lake and went over to Walpole.  Lots of fish on the walpole flats eating bait, but nothing over 2.5 lbs.

By this time the N wind was howling.  Moved out to deeper water outside of the flats.  Worked cabbage out to 19', caught fish in about every depth, but never found good fish.  Mostly 8 - 12" fish, even in the deep stuff.  Even on the "protected" N side of LSC there were 3 - 4 footers out off shore in the deep water, so it made moving around not so fun.

I hope it was just the conditions, either that or I totally forgot how to catch good smallies.  Never saw another bass boat all day.

Naw... the lake is weird right now. Yeah, some guys are on the big ones of course, but we caught the same size fish too from 5 feet to 17 feet with a few nice ones mixed in here and there. But we had WAY better weather ;D (thank goodness, although that meant the square tuna boat waves got worse later in the day). I give you extra credit for giving the river a try anyway. There are fish in the river, but it isn't the same as it will be later.

Dave, how so? (about the time?)
