I'm planning on moving to a new server within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Just a little friendly warning as there might be a few hours of odd behavior when the process starts. I will try to have it done at night or weekend.

Wings sound good to me.... I'm not a huge fan of crappy weather on a large lake... :-(  I'm good for the 12th as well.. But someone needs to make the call.... REV , Jack whomever just not me..lol

why don't we play it by ear and make the call tomorrow evening around 6 or 7? Maybe we will have a better handle on the weather by then.? I don't want to go in dangerous conditions but I am pretty psyched to try Canada since I have never been there before.

I'm with Chris on this one! haha I only say this because I'm sure they don't give out refunds for single day Canadian licenses  :'(

I'll talk with Tom tomorrow (Friday) and make a call early in the afternoon. It may be best to reschedule.

I just barely got off the lake in time before tonights storm hit with 40+ mph winds.

The 12th looks good for me...and so do wings at Bdubs.  That'd be my vote.

Might be that I can get the Canadian License by then...that might ease up the pairings?

Let me know...and thanks.

Playing it by ear sounds good to me.  Can someone volunteer to email and call everyone so no one shows up if we cancel?  I'm swamped, dealing with too much on my plate.

I'm out for the 12th...We go upnorth that weekend every year.

Hey Guys,

Due to possible thunderstorms (60-70% chance) with a possibility of them being severe, tomorrows event is CANCELED. It is being rescheduled for July 12th. I'll start a new post so people can sign up. Any questions, give me a call.

Anyone that still wants to meet up at Buffalo Wild Wings in Novi can post on here.

Hopefully the next event will have more stabil weather and a better bite. FYI I fished there last Tuesday from 8 until 1:30 and the bite started out slow but progressed as the day went on with the bigger fish being caught later in the day. We probably caught 40-50 with the biggest about 3 pounds but most were the 1-1 1/2 pounders found everywhere on the lake. We saw bigger fish cruising but didn't hook up with any. The best presentation was a dropshot rig along with a Canadian Mist 2 1/2" tube since the bottom was covered with snot grass (moss).

Have a happy 4th of July!

Be Safe, Mark
