Move went fine. The new server is much faster. Which is good!

I'm planning on moving to a new server within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Just a little friendly warning as there might be a few hours of odd behavior when the process starts. I will try to have it done at night or weekend.

Yesterday at the Natural Resources Commission meeting in Lansing, science prevailed thanks to many, many persons who took the time to write in, and especially those who showed up to speak before the Commission on Commissioner Walters’ amendment to close bass fishing on the Inland Waterway and Black Lake from May 1 until the third Saturday in June.

I found this picture while reading on www.Bassfan.com, notice the huge Yamaha boat, now look to the lower left in front of the boat...the driver with the red sweatshirt on is Jay Yelas and the observer in the other seat with the yellow hat on is me!? This was Saturday, we were hanging out by the Yamaha boat because as you all probably know Jay is on the Yamaha Team...what this doesn't show is after this awesome rig arrived, Mercury sent 2 people out on a bass boat out in this little launch bay with a 3' x 8' Mercury banner ;D? Everybody got a chuckle out of it...well everybody but Mercury...

What is the biggest difference you noticed from observing a top pro and their approach/fishing skills from us weekend warriors.

Certainly envy the opportunity you had last weekend!

Say, you better zoom in on that picture and give a close up look. I need better verification that that is you. ;)

That's cool dude!

I thought it was obvious that it was me by the way the yellow hat draws even more attention to my melon like head  ;D..

Biggest difference....hmmm....suprisingly outside of the publicity and hype of who they are and where they've been, I think it comes down to casting ability...  They strap theire life jackets on the same way we do, they have to relieve themselves every hour or so like we do, they stumble on the trolling motor once in a while, they make mistakes but recover well, they all are great at lure presentation, but still end up with a backlash or two and a couple hard plops in the water.  So actually I guess I'll say biggest difference is Casting Ability & Accuracy and Fishing in the Moment...being versatile and changing with the conditions.
