Just a reminder - the 2007 licences just expired.  You can get your Michigan licences on line:

Just donated my $15 to the state.   :P

I always get my license online because I can print as many licenses as I want. I usually run enough to keep one in my truck, one in the boat, one in my wallet and a couple of spares besides. Saves having to worry about getting them wet etc.

you can get mi licenses on line??? didn't know the dnr would accept that.

I got my Michigan last week while I was in my local Meijer store.  In the next month I will be making a trip out to St. Clair Shores and Lakeside Tackle to purchase my Ontario and Walpole Licenses.  Ontario will run around $65 and Walpole was $40 last year.  So for $105 I can fish anywhere in these regions.  I bought the "All Species" for Michigan.  Usually throughout the summer I end up purchasing Ohio, Illinois, and Indiana depending where I go.  Licenses usually end up costing me around $200 or more a year.  But its nothing if you have a love for our great sport.

I always laminate a copy of all of them and keep them in my tackle box with the originals in my wallett.

Dan

You can print as many originals as you like if you buy them online.

Good call, Seth.  I would have forgotten.  Donated my money online today.

On a side note, you been keeping that jump shark killer swim bait in your pocket just waiting for soft water, admit it!

Team houston

You can get your Canadien over the phone. 1-800-667-1940  They tell you it will take 4 weeks or so. But if you get it in February mine always comes in less than a week.

they do but i think it is   14.4 k dial up.  young guys will wonder what that is...

dashaver63

I always had gotten the Canadian license from Lakesidefishingshop.com and this year they went up to $75.00 and the Walpole is $42.00. Is that their price now or did tha Canadians raise their fee?

djkimmel

The 2008 non-resident Ontario full fishing license is listed as ~$66.00 Canadian including GST if you buy it from the MNR. Not sure what the exchange rate is at the moment.

Help stop invasive spcies. Don't move fish between unconnected bodies of water. Clean, drain and dry your boat before launching on another water body.
