I know this isn't the section to post this but I couldnt find a good area. I see guys selling boats saying registration numbers are good till 2020. Question is i thought you had 15 days to change it. This guy tells me as long as the registration is signed your all good. Any insight? Thx

Been a long time since I've done this. You're talking about the every 3 years boat sticker, correct? I thought that could be transferred to the new owner when you both follow the proper steps through the Michigan Secretary of State? There are fees you still have to pay. Not hard to find this information online with the SOS web pages.

Your right. It probably is best just to talk to tbem
