Move went fine. The new server is much faster. Which is good!

I'm planning on moving to a new server within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Just a little friendly warning as there might be a few hours of odd behavior when the process starts. I will try to have it done at night or weekend.

Yesterday at the Natural Resources Commission meeting in Lansing, science prevailed thanks to many, many persons who took the time to write in, and especially those who showed up to speak before the Commission on Commissioner Walters’ amendment to close bass fishing on the Inland Waterway and Black Lake from May 1 until the third Saturday in June.

Does not look like it from the satellite view.   Every time I drive by that lake I think the same thing.

BTW   I need to book a guide trip on Bellville after my weekday tournaments are done in August.

LAPORTE

I didn't see one either ... oh well

I changed over to Allen lake. A buddy of mine here at work wants to meet out there to do a mini 5 hour tourney best 3 fish

Winner gets ice cream when over... I'm looking forward to it, i'm calling it  "The Ice-Cream Social Slam"...lol

Any one want to meet out there just shoot me a PM and Ill give you the low down of time and such.

Dartag anytime you want we can go except Tuesday's are a bad night with meetings for me...

You can always go to 'mrbis' - the MDNR boat ramp website to search for available MDNR boat ramps and harbors. Just click on 'Waterbody' on the right and start typing in the lake name to see if anything pops up. Sometimes they use a different or more particular name for a lake on that app, but when I type in 'brill' nothing pops up so I'm saying no MDNR ramp.

You can also click the 'Go to map page' button and search by moving around the map to the area you are looking for - see if there's an icon on that lake? Brill Lake is on the map with no ramp icon.

Of course, the locals got their boats on the lake somehow and when I zoom in on Google satellite view I see at least 2 boat ramps, maybe 3. But they all look like they have little or no parking. I'm guessing they are private ramps belonging the lake associations/homeowner groups. But who knows? I've never heard much about the lake. If someone knows the deal, maybe they can share what's up?

The ramp off Brills Lake Road looks like it has a tiny parking lot for 2-3 trailers... maybe 'public' run by a local governing body?

The ramp at the end of the canal in the NW corner I can't even clearly see where you drive in to get to it - maybe behind a house through a driveway next to a garage?? There's a tiny grass parking area but I'm guessing that is a personal ramp maybe, or maybe a homeowners' group ramp?

The 3rd possible ramp looks like a small, private launch area at the end of the fat canal accessed from that house's driveway - I'm guessing that is their personal 'ramp.'

Help stop invasive spcies. Don't move fish between unconnected bodies of water. Clean, drain and dry your boat before launching on another water body.
