I have not seen anything about it this year. I am going to head out there in the morning so if anybody wants to go along let me know. 810 - 599 - 1972 I hope to be on the water around 7 or 8, no gas $ needed. If things go well I might go out there Sunday as well.
Are there any smallies in that lake? Any other tips? Or rocks to avoid?

Edit: no wonder there were no responses, I fished there today and found the Midwest Tournament was there. I did O.K. when I got there then the bite shut off for me after about noon. The heat and my GPS conking out occasionally made it tough.

I didn't see your post Chris until it was too late in the evening to call you.
I would have gone with you.  Instead, I hung around here and did yard work.  Terrible trade off!

I'll PM you my phone number.
So much water.  So many lures.  So little time.

Rick, the bite was tough, especially since I didn't get there until 10. I got to know the lake a little but not many fish, only 2 LMs at about 2.5 lbs. each on my new mop jig. Once I realized there was a tx out there I tried to stay out of the way as much as possible, and tried to find fish.
Thompson today was close to usual, a few bigger fish and some average sized ones. A good day out there.
