Our two biggest, both on Case Plastics drop shot worms fishing beds at the mile roads.

Edit: the site is rotating my images on its own. They're right side up on my phone. Seth Valentine won with 24+ pounds. We got second with 22lbs10oz.

Big thanks to Laporte and DjKimmel for a great day on the water! Learned a lot about bed fishing for smallmouth and their behavior in general. Especially fun when DjKimmel was after some big ones bumping uglies and Laporte was rippin some lips!

Don't know why it is doing that... At least they are right-side up when you view the full-sized picture. I'll have to do some research into why this is happening but it may be fixed when I switch over to the new theme (hopefully). I've got the new forum design theme done on a test site. I'm just working on the rest of the website now. Will take awhile to get all of the content transferred over into the new setup... working on it but if I can find a fix for the rotation I will do it.

Glad you enjoyed your day. We ended up doing well after a slow start. Lots of interesting fishing behavior going on out there but bedfishing can be tough with 2 or 3 people in the boat but I was glad you popped your 1st sightfishing bedding smallie and got some more later. It will only get better each time you get a shot at it.

staceyp took some pictures of the weigh in she will be sending me in the next few days. We had a fun cookout as usual and gave a bunch of donuts to some young anglers who seemed to be big donut fans!

Top 4 teams all had over 20 pounds thanks to light winds and no rain most of the day. Big bass was 6 pounds with a 5-8 being 2nd big bass. Lots of 4's and a few other 5's 'weighed' in. Most teams caught some bass and there were a few big uglies caught too of course with a ~3.5+ pike winning the coveted Big Ugly award.

thedude's fishing partner got a special prize for traveling the farthest to fish the tournament - he was from Germany! So he beat out Mike S. and Firefighter Jeff!

Sponsors donated some great prizes again from Case Plastics / Zipper Worms, D&R Sports Center, Xtreme Bass Tackle and Kustom Kicker Jigs!
