7th Annual Junior Diabetes Research Foundation bass tournament!

This years date is August 23rd.  We will once again be at Wabasis Lake north east of Rockford, MI.  We will fish from 7:00 to 1:00.  Entry fee is $40 per boat.  You can have 3 people in your boat if at least one of them is under age 16.  We do get a lot of kids fishing with their dads and friends at this event (I always have a child in my boat).

We will once again be having a raffle after the weigh in.  We always have great prizes to be won.  There will also be refreshments for everyone.  Cookies, brownies, water, soda, etc... has been the norm in the past.  This year we will strive to have some diabetic friendly snacks as well!!

This is a great cause.  I think we all know someone with diabetes, so come fish with us, have a great time, and help those afflicted with this disease.

If anyone would like to donate prizes to be raffled off they would be MUCH appreciated.  We prefer sporting goods type items, but nothing will be turned down.

Just popping this back to the top.  Looks like we have a lot of great prizes to raffle off this year.  Nemesis Baits, 2K Jigs, Al and Bob's Sports, The Outdoorsman Sport Shop, Cabelas, Gander Mountain, West Marine, and several others have donated this year.  I'm also trying to work out a half day trip with one of Michigan's premier smallmouth guides to be auctioned off.  More details on that to follow!
