Went to Cass Lake with the Eastside Bass Club.

Help stop invasive spcies. Don't move fish between unconnected bodies of water. Clean, drain and dry your boat before launching on another water body.

Burt Lake.    6 1/2, 5 1/2, 4, & several 2 - 3 1/2 pounders.

Slow fishing......but what a beautiful warm & calm day!

You call that slow?????   :o  Maybe you should tell me what trails you're fishing so I can avoid them like the plague.  I caught a 30+ in. pike today, that was it.  That is slow.....

LOL!!!    I just re-read my post!!   I didn't mean for it to come off that way.  I was kind of tired from the drive and fishing all day.

But to be honest with you.........we usually whack between 5 & 10 fish from 5 to 7 pounds up there this time of year and countless 4 pounders.  ;)     We found where they like to go in the early spring......but the weather was just TOO NICE!   I needed a little chop to help me out.......never got it this trip.

We found your chop on Hardy Saturday, when I ran out of gas 1 1/2 miles downwind of the launch.  About 30 minutes or more on the trolling motor on high and we were finally back.  Luckily the batteries never failed!!
