The poorly written, damaging to Michigan Sport Fishing commercial fishing bills have been introduced again. State House Bills 5801 and 5802, introduced by Rep. Dave Prestin and Rep. Jason Morgan, have been assigned to the House Committee on Natural Resources and Tourism.

This is a tale of two lakes. Intertwined lakes, in Barry County, Michigan. Where somehow the water has gone away. Upper and Lower Crooked Lakes, both near and dear to me, are suffering from the lowest water levels I've seen in the 35+ years I've been fishing them.

Hey guys I kno this prob will come down to personal preference, but what do u guys suggest is better for d.shot tubes and deep cranking?  Looking to try some higher end line and wanted to get some thoughts b4 I buy nething. Thanks

kram1982

I use both interchangeably. I like that sunline has a 7 lb test flouro for dropshoting but haven't had a problem using 8lb test seagar either. Both are good lines and in my opinion can't go wrong with either.

MSURoss

I have had great success with sunline sniper trying a little seagar this year.

thedude

i also use 7lb sunline for fineese baits. i use seaguar for everything else.

Seaguar runs thin on the diameters so i like it for cranking. you can run 12lb and get the same results as the average 10lb.

Thedude, do u use invizx or abrazx?

Manxfishing

There both good line

i've used the Invizx and sniper and never noticed any thing different between the 2 except the
Sniper is 5 bucks more a box
Both have been great. If there is a difference I don't think it's huge

This year I found a deal on Tatsu
And i'll let you know if it's worth the money

kram1982

I use the Invizx. Never used Abrazx before.

thedude

invizx. i like sunline FC Sniper for the lighter stuff. The 7lb is unbelievably strong - that said i've not tried 6 or 8lb invizx to compare.

I use Seaguar, both the InvizX and AbrazX. I love these lines and have had no issues with them over the past 2 years.

Do yourself a favor and save a ton of money and breakoffs and get vicious pro elite. It's by far the best fluorocarbon for the money!

jjjmpv22

I also use both. I have landed a 14lb carp on the 7lb FC sniper sunline. I really like the red label good price and good line.

korean_bassmaster

I'm leaning toward 7lb sniper for finesse and 10-12 invizx for deep cranking.
