This is a tale of two lakes. Intertwined lakes, in Barry County, Michigan. Where somehow the water has gone away. Upper and Lower Crooked Lakes, both near and dear to me, are suffering from the lowest water levels I've seen in the 35+ years I've been fishing them.

Put a few winter project baits up in the TU gallery - please check them out and let me know what you think.  Opening day is 2 weeks away -time to stop making the 'toys' and start using them.

Very nice. I've just started making some hard baits. I haven't yet painted any of them. Do you live in the Detroit area? I could use some lessons on using a airbrush.

I like the popper!
I almost got into that this year... the only thing that stopped me is that I have no room to put all the stuff... literally.
I would have to sell some things to make room for all the paints, tools, compressor and so on.
I will have that stuff! Just not now.
