Move went fine. The new server is much faster. Which is good!

I'm planning on moving to a new server within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Just a little friendly warning as there might be a few hours of odd behavior when the process starts. I will try to have it done at night or weekend.

Yesterday at the Natural Resources Commission meeting in Lansing, science prevailed thanks to many, many persons who took the time to write in, and especially those who showed up to speak before the Commission on Commissioner Walters’ amendment to close bass fishing on the Inland Waterway and Black Lake from May 1 until the third Saturday in June.

Hello all,

I'm making up some tourney-style (but budget) fishing shirts for my son (going on 10) and I. A few of the big companies have been great (Shakespeare/Ugly Stick, Rat-L-Trap, Zebco, Abu Garcia, Eppinger, etc.) when I contacted them, and have sent/are sending some. I even bought a few at BPS or GM. We still don't have much.

Even so, with so many anglers and sponsors that look at this site, I thought I'd ask for more. We'd be happy to be your billboard   ;)   Even beyond patches. Our boat has a Mercury motor, but I'm trying not to have to order their patch online. Especially need some bigger back patches (pretty empty back there).

Live in SE Michigan and boat on Inland Waterway. We'll be tourists at the BFL on Mullett/Burt.

Thanks if anyone is interested,

Rick Martin

Sometimes you can get them from company reps at the fishing shows - mostly over for this year although there will be some reps at D & R Sports  at their spring show on Fri-Sat April 6 - 7 if you can take a drive to W M-43 a few miles outside Kalamazoo.

Most often, shirts are now down with embroidery, although dye sublimation printing is gaining in popularity. Patches are less popular and common than they used to be.

You may have to keep asking the companies, or order some patches from BPS, something like that. I think BPS may still sell the bigger ones for a few companies not too expensive.

I don't plan on having patches made for GLB.

Help stop invasive spcies. Don't move fish between unconnected bodies of water. Clean, drain and dry your boat before launching on another water body.
