I'm planning on moving to a new server within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Just a little friendly warning as there might be a few hours of odd behavior when the process starts. I will try to have it done at night or weekend.

Merry Christmas From the Kistler Family
December 2013

My 14 year old son Kyle and I were out shopping this weekend along with thousands of other shoppers. Taking note of all the gifts being purchased, he asked me, "Dad, what would people do if there wasn't Christmas?"

Life Without Christmas?

What would you have said?

All I could come up with at the time was, "Well, I guess we'd all spend our money on something throughout the year anyway"

But later that day I really began to think about what Christmas was about. Can you imagine a world without the Christmas celebrations? The phrase "Merry Christmas" broken down could have come from three parts "Merry" "Christ" and "Mas" with a Spanish translation "More Joyful with Christ". Well maybe not, but it could be, ha ha.

Over the years, my family and I have learned that if we allow "more of Christ" into our Christmas season, we become happier and at peace. The opposite has been true for the years when we really did not bring Christ into our Holiday Season...we just didn't truly enjoy ourselves to the fullest and the gifts' pleasures did not last long at all.

This year, we are going to try to put the "Christ" back into our celebration so that we can all enjoy a peaceful and happy time with family. Yes, the presents are nice too especially when we see the smile on others faces. It's a celebration that deserves food, fun and gifts. Jesus Christ's birthday is worth getting excited about! The most exciting part about it is the fact that we have a hope from knowing Christ that surpasses any problem, struggle or even the most amazing fishing rod.

My prayer for you is that the only true peace that comes from the Price of Peace, Jesus Christ will fill your heart with love this Christmas like never before. God loves each and every one of us and sent his son Jesus to be born, live among us and then to die on a cross as a sacrifice for all of our sins so that you and I could one day spend eternity with God instead of separated from God in that other place we all deserve. This is what we believe to be the truth set out in the Holy Bible.

Yes, a gift was sent for you and I, we did not deserve it but all we have to do is accept it, believe in His Word and confess with our lips that He is Lord. For those of us who make that very important decision to become God's children, we'll all be fishing for trophies someday together in heaven and I hope we get to use Kistler Rods too, ha ha. Don't let another year go by without experiencing the true meaning of Merry Christmas....

In Christ Love,

Trey Kistler and family

Here are a few scriptures from the Old Testament Holy Bible that were Prophecies about Jesus: Psalm 22:16; Psalm 16:10; Isaiah 53:10-11; Psalm 68:18; Psalm 110:1. Here are a few from the New Testament that were Fulfilled: 1 Peter 2:21-22; Luke 23:33; Acts 2:25-32; Acts 1:9; Hebrews 1:3. Do your own research to find the truth.

Nice

Some how I missed that
Been a Kistler fan and user for a while now

So,
BigJC what do you think about the new Hel 3's
I was disappointed to see that the grip is just like the KLX's

In the past I myself thought the Mag and the Hel felt (or fished) about the same
But with the Hel you received the rubber/cork grip. These days you need to buy the z-bones to
get that grip.

I have probably close to twenty Kistler Rods, More than half are the old Graphite Plus series, a few Helium, a few magnesiums and a couple of Helium II's. I love the helium IIs but a bit pricey for me.  I have not bought a new rod in several years now.  I prefer something other than a cork grip
