I'm planning on moving to a new server within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Just a little friendly warning as there might be a few hours of odd behavior when the process starts. I will try to have it done at night or weekend.

Well I thought I was prepared if we had a power outage. Then it went out. Wheres the flashlight? Thought it was in the drawer. Nope!! Where  are the candles? Thought they were in a tote. Nope. Found the flashlight. Batteries dead. Found the candles, but the smelly ones. Guess they will have to do.

Got the generator out, but no gas. Had to get gas. Well I filled it up and spent an hour trying to get it running. Finally Im in the clear. Nope. Oil runs all over and it pukes. Thats ok, I will run to town and buy a new one. Nope. Every store is sold out. Mean while my pregnant daughter, husband and little ankle biter are here from NC visiting for the week. Thats ok, well will hunker down for the night with extra blankets.

Next day my neighbor says run a cord to my generator and plug in the freezer. Great.... So I unload the frig and put stuff in a cooler and the rest in the freezer. Yep.. the power comes back on. Civilization we are back. Amen Thank you Lord

I guess what I am trying to say is if our power went out for any length of time. How would you handle it? Very easy to take all our luxuries for granted. Guilty I am!!!!

We would handle similar to how you did. But with less stuff pre-prepared... :D

Help stop invasive spcies. Don't move fish between unconnected bodies of water. Clean, drain and dry your boat before launching on another water body.
