Move went fine. The new server is much faster. Which is good!

I'm planning on moving to a new server within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Just a little friendly warning as there might be a few hours of odd behavior when the process starts. I will try to have it done at night or weekend.

Yesterday at the Natural Resources Commission meeting in Lansing, science prevailed thanks to many, many persons who took the time to write in, and especially those who showed up to speak before the Commission on Commissioner Walters’ amendment to close bass fishing on the Inland Waterway and Black Lake from May 1 until the third Saturday in June.

Could someone (NBAA director) give me some detail as to the payback schedules for the NBAA one on one's?  I am interested in the super qualifier on St. Clair and also one of the regular divisional tournaments that fit my schedule.

What would the estimated payback be considering the;

1) St Clair super qualifier tourney w/ 75 boats.

2) Lobdell (Oakland county Division) w/ 40 boats.

I am just wondering if it is worth the membership fee for only two tournaments, since I know I can't make the championship tournament either.

Thanks!

dhuff

Not exactly sure on the payouts.  However, I look at it like this.  Extra 15$  win one of those win probably 3 to 5 hundred or more so means worth it to me.  Not to mention I think it is going to be fun and something different so why not?  I will see you there at the Lobdell tourney.

LGMOUTH

Im not sure about the super qualifiers but the division qualifiers are exactly like the weeknight tournaments, so if there are 40 boats first place would be $392 and payback 8 spots

Im guessing that the super qualifiers would be a little bit more since the entry is a little bit more.
When you are in any contest you should work as if there whereto the very last minute a chance to loose it.

smbassman

Thanks!  I thought they were all $60 entry, but I see now that the regular divisions are only $40.

Dhuff - unfortunately, I won't be fishing any other NBAA events so the $45 membership is pretty high for the two tournaments (higher than the entry fee in one  ???).  But the format does sound fun so I might still fish them.

 Just to clarify

General membership  $30
One on One membership $15

You have to have a general membership and a one on one membership to fish the one on ones but you only need a general membership to fish any regular NBAA tournaments.

Good idea for posting that LGMOUTH,  I think some guys are getting mixed up on that.  I think that is a great deal only an additional $15 to be able to fish any of the one on one tourneys.  I know other tournament organizations standard membership fee is alot more than that.  NBAA is doing a great job at giving alot of anglers a chance to fish all kinds of events.  They are getting alot of good sponsors and those sponsors are stepping up and providing NBAA with some good stuff to hand out.  They are actually giving the anglers choices in tournaments.  My only complaint is on their scheduling with two divisions in the exact same area having tournaments on the same day just baffles me but no one or nothing is perfect.  I still enjoy fishing thema nd believe they are the best local and growing tournament organization out there with all they do and the classics.  Can't wait for this year.

smbassman

So, if I am only fishing a one on one I need the general mambership $30 and the one on one for $15 for a total of $45 - Right???  Isn't that what I said?

Er maybees you's waas  clerin it up furs BassfishinMan?
