I'm planning on moving to a new server within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Just a little friendly warning as there might be a few hours of odd behavior when the process starts. I will try to have it done at night or weekend.

If your fishing FLW and think your going to get serious then definitley be the original registered owner of a ranger for the incentive money, if your going to buy used I would seriousley consider a 2003 or newer skeeter the 10 year hull warranty is transferable to a second owner but not a third and the engine warranty should transfer also.

skeeter is the first boat manufacturer to produce bass boats and has always led the way and set the bar, they are faster and better handling than almost any other boat out there there hull desighn helps to keep the bow from spearing waves like a couple major brands do so often, they have awesome storage and independant livewells and for $20 a year you can join the real money program then any tournament win with at least 30 boats skeeter will pay you between $1000 and $3000 depending on what model or year you buy.
you cant go wrong with a 2003 or newer skeeter and theres alot of big skeeters out there for that money look at the zx series and for $30.000 you can own a 2003 to 2005 21'2" ZX250 with a 250 yamaha hpdi your not going to find a nicer faster boat out there.

This is not an attempt to stir things up, but doesn't Skeeter specifically write in their warranty that it does not cover boats used on the Great Lakes?  This is what a Skeeter owner told me.

nope not true I heard the same rumer and asked the dealer that same question!
I know another "major" brand of boat thats had the cap seperate from the hull on two different boats and got nowhere with the manufacturer while still under warranty so its a toss up when it comes to warranty with any boat manufacturer.

I left the manufacturer name out as to not stir the pot but I think most of us know what brand Im referencing!!!!

the bottom line is dont beat your bass boat up on the great lakes with any brand of boat cuz your not going to come out on top, if you want a boat that you can wave hop and run hard buy a bay boat or off shore boat, bass boats are built with fiberglass stringers not wood so NO bass boat on the market can tolerate much abuse if your hitting waves hard enough to hurt you your hurting your boat!!!!!!!

That is why I am leaning towards a new boat...You just don't know what kind of damage has been done on a used one...Not only the hull, but the motor too.
