Move went fine. The new server is much faster. Which is good!

I'm planning on moving to a new server within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Just a little friendly warning as there might be a few hours of odd behavior when the process starts. I will try to have it done at night or weekend.

If you are like me you have a lot more fishing tackle laying around the house than you need, If you do try to sell it on ebay it is a great way to get some extra fishing money out of stuff you don't use anymore.

I would have to agree with you.

I appreciate and understand what everyone on this thread is trying to do. Let's not get too worked up though. It's not a huge deal.

I appreciate that members want to help keep the forum fair and clean, but I'd prefer, like a tournament director, when it comes down to the appropriateness of posts, that you use the 'Report to moderator' link that is in each post - let me be the 'bad guy,' interpretor of rules and/or clarifier please.

I don't read every post every day - already too many for most days for me to keep up sometimes. The report link sends me an email, which gets my attention faster when I'm not on the forum. The email also goes to other moderators depending on the source board.

Besides, life is too short to have any of you getting after each other. I can handle some situations privately too without possibly making things worse. It doesn't always have to be public to end up with the right result - keeping a fair and fun forum.

Some people miss the rules. Some understand them differently. Some see another post and might not know that I've allowed something for a confidential and/or private reason - so maybe they think it is okay to do something they think is similar. Only a very few times has outright spam actually showed up.

The other thing to remember is not everyone will find the same 'fault' in everything. Some might like a post others don't like - maybe find it useful. You never really know when you have several hundred people participating (and many more reading).

So, please, report posts you consider a problem to me using the link and try to let me or another moderator handle them - it's what we're here for. You can use the additional time for all the great posts you all do. I edited these posts to avoid any possible escalation of tension - we don't need it. I hope this makes sense to everyone - it applies to any post. Thanks.

The initial premise for the thread makes for an idea some might be interested in.

Help stop invasive spcies. Don't move fish between unconnected bodies of water. Clean, drain and dry your boat before launching on another water body.

no intention of ill will in any way.  If anyone wants to sell their stuff, pm me and I 'll walk you thru it.  Next time I'lll use the report to moderator button.  It must be the increase in spam lately - has me suspect.

Later!
