I'll wait for you guys at the ramp in Elk Rapids....we'll fish the East Arm.

But I won't wait long! ;D

(1 fish only - a c-note on the big 'un.)
Look past what they want you to see.

bshaner

PB, you wouldnt come to my tournament anyway.? It wouldnt be on Kent Lake.? ?:P :o ;D

Entry fee is 100/boat with a 30% payback at the ramp.? $50 big bass with a 20% payback at the ramp.

Proceeds to go to my favorite charity.? Hooters of Michigan.

Let's change the date to Nov 18, blast off at 10am, weigh in at 5pm.

Who's in?

And I had almost forgotten about all that... thanks. :-\'

So let's do it.  Saturday or Sunday let's get something going.  Who's in?  We can work out cash or no cash as gentlemen.

You cant let a weekend like this get away in November.  61 degrees for goodness sake and sunny!!!!!

Shaner,

If we cant find anyone participants, my mom said you can come over for the day.  I just got nintendo and it came with super mario brothers and duck hunt.  My mom will probably make us cookies too.  Oh, and we have Stove Top stuffing everynight with dinner.

If we are going the mom and cookies route, we are going to Josh's house.  I've heard his mom makes the best cookies.

Nintendo?  Man, get with the times... I'll bring over my Commodore 64 with a cassette drive.  We'll be golden!

On a side note,  are there any regulations on when you can fish certain lakes based on waterfowl hunting seasons?  It is somewhat disconcerting when I'm running through a channel and see shotgun shells floating all over the place.

Only 'regulation by-the-gun' as far as I know. They are armed. You aren't, so keep a safe distance - couple hundred yards anyway ;D

There might be a few local safety or specific-use areas that would be locally ordinanced. As always, check your local laws and ordinances before venturing into the 'unknown.'

Help stop invasive spcies. Don't move fish between unconnected bodies of water. Clean, drain and dry your boat before launching on another water body.

I just checked the forcast for this weekend and it sucks unless you are a duck hunter. So lets have a combo tournament. Bass and Ducks. One guy can fish while the other just waits for a flock to pass by.

I would probably have more success trying to hit them with my boat than with a shotgun.    The clay pidgeons are the safest animal on the range when I'm skeet shooting.
