Move went fine. The new server is much faster. Which is good!

I'm planning on moving to a new server within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Just a little friendly warning as there might be a few hours of odd behavior when the process starts. I will try to have it done at night or weekend.

Federation Nation Slots in NON-BOATER ELITE Series 2007

BASS is reserving slots in all Elite Series 2007 tournaments, on a first come, first serve basis, for members of State Federations. In order to make this work and not unfairly hinder non-member BASS members from obtaining desired slots, the following will apply:

Each Federation can exercise options for a total of 3 slots per tournament trail year.

No more than 30 total federation slots will be reserved for each tournament. If 30 slots have already been taken by Federations for a particular tournament, you will need to make another choice or have your member submit for the drawing as they have in the past.

Entries under this option will be accepted from the Federation president.

Our Michigan Board Procedure for applying for one of these 3 slots is as follows:

Due to the limit of 30 slots per tournament most of the local home states will take the majority of these spots. Therefore it is necessary to have our members make application ASAP or most tournaments

will more than likely be filled quickly..

Our board has chosen Nov 15th, 2007 as a deadline to have any members wishing to apply for a chance for one of the 3 Michigan slots as a Non-Boater in an 2007 Elite tournament.

There will be a random drawing if more than 3 members apply. The winner will be called after

BASS has been contact to see if the lake choice is still open.

All members not drawn will have their checks returned.

Please contact your members ASAP.

The member must mail in a Deposit Check of $250.00 along with

1st choice of Tournament location. I suggest that they also choice a 2nd choice (should the 1st be filled up).
