Main opponents of Proposal 3 support terrorists

I personally think the organizations like PETA and HSUS are made up of hypocrital frauds, but some of them are determined to force all other people to think exactly like them using sometimes any means available. I have stated before that my Father-in-Law had his office in the MSU building that was firebombed by terrorists from groups that have received support from some of these same persons and groups who attack here in Michigan every time a hunting issue comes up for vote. Please help send these confused twisted individuals and groups a clear message by voting Yes on 3.

Subject:   Elections Filings Show Proposal 3 Opponents are Linked to Extremists
Date:        Fri, 3 Nov 2006 10:53 AM

A quick review of the latest elections filings proves what sportsmen across Michigan have been saying for months: opponents of Proposal 3 really are extremists and linked to animal rights terrorism.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ CWCC Press Release
The Humane Society of the United States (HSUS), the largest animal rights organization in the world, continues to be the financial backbone of the campaign to take hunting rights away from Michigan citizens.  To date, opponents have raised $2.2 million.  $1.6 million of that or 75 percent has come from HSUS and entities under its control.  The organization's website, hsus.org, admits that it opposes recreational hunting.  The website also describes the organization's opposition to using animals for medical research and makes no allowance for research to cure fatal diseases such as heart disease or diabetes.
The largest individual donor is multi-millionaire Leslie Alexander, owner of the Houston Rockets, a professional basketball team.  Alexander, who lives in New York and Florida, donated $50,000 to the effort to stop dove hunting in Michigan.  He sits on the board of directors of HSUS.
Alexander is also one of the largest donors to People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA), which has been linked to animal rights terrorists such as the Animal Liberation Front (ALF) and Earth Liberation Front (ELF).  ALF and ELF are classified by the U.S. government as a domestic terrorist group.  PETA has donated money to ELF and paid the legal fees of ALF terrorist Rodney Coronado convicted in connection with the firebombing of the Mink Research Facility at the Michigan State University laboratory in 1992.
Leslie Alexander and his Alexander foundation have also donated to terrorist organizations, Stop Huntingdon Animal Cruelty, linked to car bombings and death threats and on line publications that cater to animal rights terrorists such as ?Bite Back? and ?No Compromise.?  The connection between animal rights extremists and the chief financial sources of a Michigan ballot issue raises questions.
?This amount of money that has flowed in to Michigan from those with a
connection to extremists and even criminals should reveal to our voters what opponents of Proposal 3 are really all about, said Marc Somers, chairman of the Citizens for Wildlife Conservation Committee (CWCC), which supports Proposal 3.  ?The media have not asked the tough questions.  If one entity made up nearly three fourths of the funding behind a candidate for president or governor, would people need to know what agenda is behind the money?  If one of the largest donors to a candidate also gave to organizations that support terrorists, would that be relevant?  Of course it would be, and the media would have uncovered the link.  They need to do the same here in the closing days before the election.?
Without the HSUS and Mr. Alexander, proponents and opponents of Proposal 3 would have raised nearly identical amounts, about $500,000 to take their respective cases to the voters.
