(From the website article) The fishing got a little tougher this year for the annual charity event.  Probably a combination of a change in weather, and recent spraying for weeds contributed to the tough bite.  Despite the conditions, five teams from the field of 38 were able to 'limit-out' with six fish.  Jason Graham and Steve Moreland took home the first place prize of $2000 with a total weight of 14.48 lbs.  With a total of 80 fish weighed in, only one fish was pronounced dead.  The unfortunate smallmouth fell victim to a large musky as it was been reeled to the boat  .  Thanks to all the participants and sponsors who made this event possible.  Plans are already in the works for next year's 9th annual event, so we hope everyone can come back again.  As always, a portion of the money will be donated to the Pediatric Burn Unit at Hurley Hospital.
