Yesterday at the Natural Resources Commission meeting in Lansing, science prevailed thanks to many, many persons who took the time to write in, and especially those who showed up to speak before the Commission on Commissioner Walters’ amendment to close bass fishing on the Inland Waterway and Black Lake from May 1 until the third Saturday in June.

Let's all guess were Dan is

I'm thinking Delta flew him to the wrong country or lost him with the other
baggage.

He's safely home. Resting. He'll be back with us soon.

Waterfoul

I heard he is with Waldo... good luck finding him!
Addicted to fishing.  All the time, any species, anywhere!!  Especially in West Michigan!!!

Delta did hide from me in Orlando but I eventually found them after asking the nice lady at the info counter. Overall, coming back was the smoothest travel I've had maybe ever. If it wasn't for my memory and the weird Miami to Orlando connector it was easy. I did get randomly picked for swabbing in Orlando too but they were fairly quick. Actually, when the bell dinged and the light flashed I thought, either A) I had won a big prize, or B) here we go...

My bag came out first in Miami. I almost fainted. It came out fairly quick in Detroit too. It was weird.

Mike's right about resting. I have the energy of an Amazon three-toed sloth (that's the really slow one).

Had a blast though. I literally fished in the jungle. Water was way up in the trees. I have the usual bruises, blisters, raw spots, callouses and added a couple bee stings for good measure. We caught them good anyway! Rained every day so I don't have much video but I have some pictures. Wait until you see the new 'Amazon' rig. The guides now have a new 'good bait.'

Help stop invasive spcies. Don't move fish between unconnected bodies of water. Clean, drain and dry your boat before launching on another water body.
