Not sure who here knew about this however, I am a little frustrated with what I just found on page 422 of the BPS Master Catalog 2012.  Apparently Lowrance had to wait for me to purchase both of my HDS units before they came out with the Gen2 version.  I am not entirely sure what the difference is at this time.  The main difference seems to be with the LSS1 where you can mark a spot that you have been to using both GPS and then attaching the side imaging screen to that spot. 

Also, on page 429 it shows the Hydrowave.  This is the same unit KVD uses and goes for $389.  Anyone have any experience with this unit?
