Move went fine. The new server is much faster. Which is good!

I'm planning on moving to a new server within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Just a little friendly warning as there might be a few hours of odd behavior when the process starts. I will try to have it done at night or weekend.

Yesterday at the Natural Resources Commission meeting in Lansing, science prevailed thanks to many, many persons who took the time to write in, and especially those who showed up to speak before the Commission on Commissioner Walters’ amendment to close bass fishing on the Inland Waterway and Black Lake from May 1 until the third Saturday in June.

Every year there is a minimal inland lake opening weekend tournaments theres usually one on gun lake or some small lake an of course the lake shore tournaments. I'm NOT trying to become the next ROI or RDT but I just want a fun opening weekend tournament on lake were you don't have to worry about running all over the lake shore. I'm considering putting together a slug fest on Fremont lake for the opening weekend. It will be a pre-registration 20 boat max on Fremont Lake. You will have to send your entry out 3 weeks before the tournament and that will guarantee you a spot in the tournament. It will be a $100 entry 100% payback no membership fees with $2000 payout if all 20 spots are filled plus whatever else I can get from sponsor's. Trophies, give aways and a big smallie side pot( that will be optional at sign up) the tournament will be from safe light till 3pm.
This post isn't a time to tell me your in but I just want some suggestions weather or not its a good idea or not. I enjoy fishing the lake shore but I want to try something new this year. If I'm gonna step on someones toes and make a bad name for myself I will not run one. I just think it will be something new. I don't know what day the tournament will be on either Saturday Sunday or Monday,I have to see were every one is at an go from there. As a tournament director getting stuff together starts know.

Here is my opinion.  In my area there are between 5 and 10 tourneys on opening day.  They are all from 6am-2pm.  I would love it if someone had a late tournament, like 5pm-10pm.  Fishing both would be great.
