I'm planning on moving to a new server within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Just a little friendly warning as there might be a few hours of odd behavior when the process starts. I will try to have it done at night or weekend.

BASS is going all out on these last two tournaments. They have 50 Basstrak phones that they normally just use the last two days. However, with everything coming to a head in AOY points they have pass out Basstrak phones to the Marshals in the Top 50 boats. I really like how BASS covers these events. You can follow them on the computer all day long and get some very good coverage. I'm leaving this coming Tuesday for the Wheeler. Flying down to Huntsville. Should be hot, but I've been looking forward to a ringside seat for some ledge fishing.

I bet this tournament is Won on the Decator flats.

Wheeler is a great lake with some real big bass in it. Sandiwiched between Gunersville and Pickwick it doesn't get the attention it deserves. Its 60 Miles long and is Alabamas second biggest lake.

The water level is suppose to stay consistant and this should mean the Decator flats will be solid.

I wouldn't be surprised to see some big bags come from flipping tree's and lumber on the main river / lake or in Elk River.

Pay Attention to the Flats Dan.

Dan

I have ridden with Tommy Biffle, Matt Herren, and Marty Robinson on Wheeler. It's just 14 miles from my brother-in-laws. Between Wheeler and Pickwick is Wilson. Just one more Tennessee River impoundment.
You are right about lots of water. I Marshaled the last Elite event there, but it was in April and the flats were not where it was at. It should definitely be a ledge bit this time, although they say the grass is way down from what it was. Should be a good time. I hope to get there early Wednesday so I'm in line to get my name on the list for Sunday. I'm guaranteed three days though, but Sunday is when all the hoopla occurs. I'll be blogging everyday with lots of pictures. My trip to Wheeler two years ago is archived at the top of my daily blog page.
Nice bunch you had on Missaukee that you and Jack had. Are you going to fish Crystal Sunday?

I just saw your post to me Dan.

I only went up to Missaukee cuz a bud challenged me. I figured he'd win the bet because I went up blind and he had been on the Lake all Spring.

I heard that the Flats played a big role. Was it won there?

Don't know I don't fish the Tear Drop any more.
