There were only 12 people in the drawing. Those 12 people all had to qualify for the drawing. After the 12 slots were filled, all contestants had the same 1 in 12 chances of winning. Dan as a gambler/card player, I like those odds and I would take them anytime because the chances of winning are greater. I did the math and figured that if I didn't get in the contest, I would only be cheating myself out of a chance of winning........and look at that, I played the odds and won. Smoozing was not a factor in my calculations. I am a self proclaimed mathemagician. When I get them I'll let you know how they work.
