Move went fine. The new server is much faster. Which is good!

I'm planning on moving to a new server within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Just a little friendly warning as there might be a few hours of odd behavior when the process starts. I will try to have it done at night or weekend.

Yesterday at the Natural Resources Commission meeting in Lansing, science prevailed thanks to many, many persons who took the time to write in, and especially those who showed up to speak before the Commission on Commissioner Walters’ amendment to close bass fishing on the Inland Waterway and Black Lake from May 1 until the third Saturday in June.

Does anyone know the product number of the HB interference kit??  Can't seem to find it on their website.  Thanks

I'm also running a Maxxum 80...and yes it is on seperate batteries than the FF. Connections are good and tight, cables are not nicked, and of proper size.

The "interference kit" or "choke"  for the DI is a PC 11--call customer service and they will send you out one free of charge...its the power cable connector that connects to the back of the FF with a filter on it....didnt work for me sadly.

I called HB again today......they have a trolling motor "Choke"...it cost $60...but if you complain a lot like I have they will send it free of charge. However they are on back order for the next 2 weeks. Talking to the rep...they have had some success with it, but not a 100% fix for everyone, and still working on a complete solution.

Jeff....US2...is a transducer built into the lower unit of a trolling motor.

Waterfoul

US2 is the Universal Sonar transducer Minn Kota offers.  Trust me, go with the transducer that comes with your unit...

when i called about mine they sent me the power chokes, the trolling motor choke and a different quadrabeam SI transducer for free, i didn't even have to get snippy. I also purchased a few other chokes on ebay to clamp around some of the other wires just to be save - in the end i think it had something to do with the US2.

I can't wait to go back out and try mine again. I didn't pay much attention to it cause I was fishing sea walls and canal docks. Maybe since it's in the driveway now. I can just lower the TM, and plug in the 788 and turn everything on and see if I have this problem. I might need all those parts too. I'm going back out Wednesday, tomorrow, it's supposed to rain.
